I cannot tell you how PHOQUE-ED up this commercial is – first Big Pharma & “Doc-The-PusherMan” let opioids flood the streets. Until 2002, drug maker Purdue misled doctors and patients about the addictive properties of OxyContin and misbranded the product as “abuse resistant.”
Now we have TV commercials on national TV promoting “fixes” for opioid-induced conditions; they nauseate me.
We need a national movement led by our government and FUNDED by Big Pharma to help all the people who have been left stricken with a life-crushing condition. We have a whole generation of our young people who started out with opioids because it was ‘fun’ and there were no major warnings of the danger and horrible affliction. For all of you in my generation who may say “Well, they should have known better.” Phoque-Ewe too. Adventurous, rebellious youth experiment and try new things. Now they’re paying for it with their lives and souls.
Please call your Congressman and MAKE SOME NOISE. We have learned that action gets a reaction.
